Listening-with the subaltern: Anthropocene, Pluriverse and more-than-human agency

The Anthropocene brings to the fore need foster ontologies that reject modern “one-world world” (Law 2015) model, characterized by extractivism, dualism and human exceptionalism, requiring enactment of pluriverses (de la Cadena & Blaser 2018) recognize heterogeneous clamor non-human agency. As an attempt listen-with those oppressed silenced extractivist paradigm, in this paper, we propose mobilization relational, dialogic nondualistic methodologies attend subaltern more-than-human worlds. Drawing on a variety sources – such as Parliament Things, Council All Beings, Pedagogy Oppressed, meditative artistic practices –, our article speculatively engages with affective, situated, hybrid counter hegemonic articulate contemplative practices, arts, agency local communities, recognizing politics, aesthetics affect are intimately entwined.
